About the Yellow May Klinkhammer Trout Fly
The Yellow May Klinkhammer is one of the very successful and popular Klinkhammer series of flies that represent many emerging insect forms.
The body penetrating the surface film is an exceptional trigger point as it gets seen by trout long before they see the surface footprint.
This is a superb fly when olive uprights are about and is exceptionally good from late spring to the beginning of autumn.
Expert Tip:
Klinkhammers are different from many other parachute dry flies in that the thorax of the fly is designed to hang down through the surface of the water to imitate an emerging insect.
Creator of this trout fly: Hans Van Klinken

This trout fly is designed to be fished on Rivers & Streams
