This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Rivers & Streams, Still Water

Pattern Dressings

  • Hook : 8-12.
  • Thread : Dark grey.
  • Tail : Three Chinese boar bristles.
  • Body : Three strands of natural ostrich herl, dirty grey in colour.
  • Wing : Two sets of blue jay neck feathers.
  • Hackle : One dark dun genetic cock hackle and one blue jay body feather wound behind, through and in front of the wing.

The wings are tied V-shaped and upright. Sprite Downeye May.
