We would like to send everyone our season greetings; it has been a really hard time for many more people this year, we hope that you have managed to make the most of it, and bring our thoughts to anyone who has been alone or had a tough Christmas or suffered this year in general.
For those that are looking for something to do between Christmas and the new year, having heard from fellow fly fishermen braving the cold to fish over Christmas, we have a glimpse of what people have been using within our Christmas Top Ten Chart.
We have a Winter Sale on at the moment, of which the Pearly Daddy (with grey hackle) made No.1 spot, and the Apache Black which we only have seconds available, came in at position 9. Outside of this sale, it's good to see the Green Snail and Orange Apache (our last Apache pattern available for some time due to Mink shortages), both popular winter patterns make JOINT 2nd position with exactly the same sales during the December period!
The rest of the chart is full of weighted nymphs and beaded lures to get some depth for where the fish are lurking in the near freezing conditions. There are some fabulous patterns in these two categories, so be sure to check them out.
If there are any new patterns you would like to see us tie in 2021, please do let us know by sending in more details, photos, or links to things you see on the web. We can't promise to tie everything, but will try and make it available as part of our new ranges.
Wishing you all the best for 2021 - The Fish4Flies Team
