About the Apache Cut Throat Black Trout Fly
The Apache Cut Throat Black is a devilish and stunningly successful attractor pattern that is very successful on still waters.
The pulsing movement of the body, the stimulating flowing and eye catching movement of the marabou and the blood red throat make this fly a serious killer.
Two or three short jerks, followed by a steady retrieve, repeat and be ready for savage takes.
Expert Tip:
This fishing fly needs to sink down a few feet in the water to give it's 'jelly fish' type movement on the pause.
It imitates a small fry, and as such fish will likely tug at it's tail as it passes. When this happens, the immediate response from the 'fry' is to get away, so begin a short but very frequent 'tap tap tap' retrieve through the water, creating the correct wake and fanning motion of the Mink within the Apache fly. The Trout should then swing back around for a 2nd or 3rd pass before taking the fishing fly with force!

In May 2020 I received some Black Cut Throat Apache.
If you follow the link below you will see that one of them was in fact a Black Cut Back Apache. Having fished this fly I found it to be an absolute killer. It might be a good idea to tie and sell this fly.

Thanks for your feedback. We are having more of these tied up; we had to halt production during the pandemic due to the supply of Mink Pelts and the mass culling in Europe due to the spreading of the virus.
