About the Humungous Silver Trout Fly
The Hunungous Silver is especially effective on all waters when the fish are hitting fry.
It is an excellent search pattern and is an ideal underwater fly for trout because it simulates baitfish, crayfish, dragonfly nymphs, leeches and other prey that all types of trout like.
The hackle and marabou create the illusion of bulk and lifelike movement, yet without the bulk. These materials collapse against the hook shank when cast, offering minimal air resistance and allowing for a smooth, streamline cast.
This dressing is very versatile and comes with a palmered hackle down the body for added sparkle and movement.
Country of origin for this trout fly: Scotland
This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Still Water
