About the S-Film Claret Emerger Buzzer Trout Fly
The S-Film Claret Emerger is a specific pattern that is designed to imitate the emerger stage of the buzzer, a favourite stage for the trout. In this stage of the fly's life cycle, they hang in the surface film waiting to hatch before their wings finally allow them to break the surface film of the water and take to the air.
The claret or dark red coloured body and wing mimics the natural colour of the buzzer in that stage.
Expert Tip:
The S-Film Claret Emerger is fished just below the surface of the water, and it can be fished using a variety of retrieve methods, such as a dead drift, a skitter or a hop.
