Comments from other fly fishermen
I have used the Marauder PBP on numerous rivers, including those in Iceland and Russian's Kola and would recommend this as a killer fly. It is especially good used as a skater at high speed, with a double hook. I have taken many salmon using this method, when other rods aren't getting a sniff. My recommendation would be to loop the leader around the head of the fly, just where the dessing appears, which keeps the fly up and creates a wake. All I would say about the takes is...hold on to your hat! - Posted by Doug on 05/02/2012
