About the Nuke Egg Chartreuse over Red Pacific & Steelhead Fly
The Nuke Egg Chartreuse over Red different from the Glo Bug in that it features a veil of egg yarn enveloping the egg. This veil imitates the "goo" that holds the eggs together in a clump.
It looks phenomenal in the water and is definitely among the most deadly of egg imitations and is very successful when fishing for steelhead, salmon and trout.
Like most egg imitations it is best fished dead drift, bouncing along the bottom, imitating an egg that has broken loose and is drifting through runs.
This pacific & steelhead fly is designed to be fished on Rivers & Streams
