About the Sar Mul Mac Saltwater Fly
The Sar-Mul-Mac is an offshore saltwater pattern originally created by Dan Blanton, designed for catching large predatory fish suggested by its name. Sar for Sardine, Mul for Mullet and Mac for Mackerel.
Expert Tip:
The basic shape of the Sar-Mul-Mac remains the same between variations, but it is common to vary the 3 distinctive colours.
This variant of the Sar-Mul-Mac has a strong red on the underside of the feather, while a strong pink streaks the underbelly. The body remains white.
