About the Dark CDC Emerger Trout Fly
The dark CDC soft hackle gives the fly interesting movement; it also traps tiny air bubbles mimicking a natural midge pupa as it reaches the surface.
During April/May trout take a lot of emergers. The dark dressing is perfect later in the day or early in the morning.
