About the Beadie Bloodworm Trout Fly

The Beadie Bloodworm represents the natural which is an important food source for trout.

This pattern is best used for tempting trout in the upper layers of water. Allow it to sink very slowly and retrieve slowly with a twitching action sufficient to activate tail.

This fly is often taken on the drop.

  • Thread : Red.
  • Eyes : Red monofilament, heated at ends.
  • Tail : Red marabou, not too heavy.
  • Body : Red glass beads.

This fly is great, a fellow fisherman gave me this fly next to the water and only with an hour fishing left and very difficult conditions I took 5 3 pound rainbows, great, but sadly my fly is ruined and cant seem to find where I can buy some more of these?
