Silver Doctor has been one of my favorite flies since I started fly fishing in mid 1950s in the area of my homevillage, Långå, in the mountin region Härjedalen, in the middle of Sweden. Most frequently used flies were “Hedeflugan” a series of 35 flies. The designers name was Oscar Fick and later on his daughter Alma.
